I'm back, with a small pond build in the works!

That should be really nice! I hope you will share pics when it's done.

Pretty fish!

my neighbor has kinda same size pond and they put a outdoor umbrella those large ones that go in the middle of a outdoor table over it. and they fixed brackets on the side of the pond on the outside. so in the summer they just slide the umbrella in the bracket and open it to keep the cali heat directly off the pond. the umbrella looks nice they use a green colored one and it blends in with the plants.

cant wait for pics. im starting to get into goldfish. just invested in some expensive ranchu's.

So nice to see you back Iris.
The pond looks great. looking forward to the progress.

The lotus tuber has arrived, and it's in the pond already. Since it's still deep winter where Ten Mile Nursery is (NC) it's just a tuber right now, looks like a piece of driftwood. Very unexciting, but with the warm water temperatures lately I expect it to start showing some leaves within a couple weeks. :)

The three blue shukin arrived today and I snapped a few photos before they met Oscar and Carrie in the pond. They're so small but so pretty! Only 2-3 inches long each. No names yet. Looks like two boys and a girl, but it's hard to tell when they're so little.

Nice little ugly fish there Flaring.

Good to see you again. Looks like your having fun.

I've been spending way too much time in the garage lately. I took one look at that sketch up and started making a materials list in my head. I don't think my wife would be pleased with me. I still have to stain and finish the dresser I just built. My wife just printed off a nightstand for me to build next. Then its the media storage unit, the china hutch, built in shelving for the office, etc......

I keep counting my fingers to make sure the table saw didn't eat one when I was a little distracted.
