Howdy folks!

Yup, after a lengthy hiatus, I'm back in the hobby we all love so much. Had moved around the country for work and such but not I'm settled down and rebuilding a planted community tank.

Current tank is a 55 and I'm just getting started with my plant selections and making sure the water is good. Also struggling to find certain South American fish since Brazil has banned a lot of the exports that we used to get. Does anyone have any sources for the oddities such as Panaque sp (L105)?

Hope to get some more posts going as I can,

Hello and welcome back, good to see aquarists are returning to this forum. I like rare fish, but I couldn't find almost anything about the Panaque L105, only a photograph and a couple of specifications. So you are in the United States, I have always recommended Liveaquaria Divers Den, in the freshwater area there are interesting fish, they may have something you like.

For more rare catfish, I would make friends with retailers/wholesalers who import fish.Or folks who breed the fish.

There are also a couple of US catfish conventions.. the all aquarium catfish convention and catfish cataclysm - https://www.catfishcon.com and https://catfish-cataclysm.com; either try to attend, or follow on facebook and ask there.

Welcome back!

Welcome back! How about a build thread with pics? :)

My wild caught Cardinal Tetras are out for delivery so once I get them situated I'll get a few pics posted.
