Tiny fish are not boring. Just because they're small doesn't mean they're boring.
It's kind of like you are saying to beginner aquarists "You're small platies and danios are stupid and boring. No one wants to hear about them."
There's even someone here who says "My white clouds can beat your oscar anytime... from the inside!"
