I'm ready to jack it in!

Right guys after taking on board the advice given and feeding every other day i missed yesterday so today is feeding day this may be a silly question but what is the best way to wash the frozen food obviously defrost first and then what fill with tank water then drain off or is their another way?

What I do is thaw/rinse in a brine shrimp net, which has a very fine mesh preventing any food from falling through.

Then I take a shot glass and fill with a bit of tank water and place the food inside before adding some Selcon (vitamin supplement) and Cyclopseeze.

Let soak for about 10 minutes and feed.

Im not saying to do this but, I had a problem with the red cyano for months, and couldn't get rid of it so I got desprate and dosed my tank with erythromycin and it killed the algae over night! And this depleated it forever, its now 1yr later and I haven't seen any of it! So when you say get it at its source this is true but maybe he has got it at its source and its still lingering, once you depleate it then its gone forever, like I said im not suggesting this but in a last resort situation, it worked for me.

Chemi clean is worthless to use. This stuff will come back. I had cyano and I tried everything. Then one day a power head fell off the side where I had it positioned, well to get to the point its all about water circulation. I left the pump where it was and gradually my sand cleaned up, and I'm not sure really what happened. All I know my cyano problem has nearly dissapeared. I have some on my rock but my sand is clean.

2 days ago i changed from t5's to halides and since then my slime algae contains millions of tiny bubbles could anyone please tell me why this is happening?

It's pearling, a sign of very fast growth in plant.
