I'm screwed, what do i do??

Well I see how you wouldn't want to tell your parents. If you have to time, and ability, you could rip up the carpet, but only if you know how to put it back.

When it comes to parents there are three options:
Let em know
Let em Find out
Let them never know

Your best options are 1, followed closely by 3, and way way back there is 2.

Basically dont let them find out. They will be mad beyond belief. So either tell them or hide it.

Seriously, I've had the same kind of thing happen to me, except the parents part. I toweled the area and vaccumed it, all good. Except it put me about 30 mins behind schedule for the ECAS meeting :thumbsdown:
 
You need to tell them because it's their house and they need to do things to ensure something like this doesn't turn into a major house problem. Mold, water damage, etc. It may not be a big deal but better safe then sorry. Man (or woman) up to it, tell them, fix it and move on.
 
Honesty is the best policy. But then again.....I don't know your particvular situation. I hope what ever you choose to do turns out okay for you Logan! I am sorry this happened--it really stinks.
 
ok, if u are real smart u will wash the towels and dry them...
u also need to wash the carpet....do u have a wet vac? shop vac?
oh and after u clean up the mess...and make it look all purty do your folks and yourself a big favor.....
be honest with them
tell them u had a little aqaurium accident,,cleaned it up but wanted to be honest and mature and tell them about it....

They might holler a bit, but they will appreciate your honesty, trust u even more, and acknowledge to their friends they raised a fine young man.

(ok i cant help it, i am a parent, grandparent, and much prefer the honesty to the secrets)
