In the news....bunny kidnapper.

Just on our local news....some woman stole another young woman's bunny to feed to her snake. She asked for ransom ($30) before she would give the bunny back.

The rabbit is back safely, but the money was paid and they still haven't caught the thief.

Weirdness.

Yeah, that came on right after CSI:Miami, which involved baby-stealing.

I heard a second-hand story about a university student (the storyteller's roommate) who captured neighborhood cats to feed to his python when he couldn't afford to buy rabbits or chickens. He was caught when a visitor opened up the drawer where he, for some reason, kept all the cat collars- her own missing kitty's was among them.
