Incandescent strip light

I've been looking at this lighting fixture in recent hours, the 30" one specifically.

Does anyone know the actual size of it (because 29"x11" just isn't right), and how the sockets are set up? In the center facing out like the 10g incandescent hood I assume?

That is the size. The strip light is smaller then the tank because it sits on the lid and that sits on the inner frame of the tank. I believe that the lights are one fixture in the middle with the light bulbs on either end.

No, it isn't. The item is a strip light, not a full hood. AGA never even made incandescent hoods in 12" and 30" sizes.

...and it looks like it has sold out.

This may be referring to the opening on the tank frame itself and would correspond to AGA's 29 gallon tank (30x12x18) or the 20 long (30x12x12)

That's true. It's strange that they're listing the size of the tank the strip lights are made for, rather than the size of the lights themselves.
