Indoor turtle pond

Now that the temperature has dropped (did it ever get high??) I have been constructing an indoor turtle pond for Fred and Wilma (thanks to the help of a very dear friend)

There's basically 50gallons of swimming space with decking all the way round for them to bask under the light. As you can see, they enjoy taking up as little space as possible!!!

Neat! Do you know what species they are? They look like either Red-bellies or Cooters to me.

I think it was decided (on here) that they were Florida Cooters.

I was told they were mud turtles when I took them!! (No-one else wanted them

Lol, well now that you mention it I think I do remember that thread. Yes, they are definitely Cooters not mud turtles.
