Attached is pic showing action of infamous Seaclone Prot skim on FOWLR. Although it requires minor adjustment from time to time, as does most skimmers I know, I feel this is beter than none.

There are a few mods that can be done on these that increases their "performance" pretty dramatically.

Open for your suggestions. Perhaps something I tried already??

ALthough never needed Oring in ten yrs, this PS Oring has become brittle while being stored in garage for few yrs.. DO you know if these O-ring are easily obtainable?

Yeah, I've known a lot of people that use them and they can work, most people just don't like to tinker with 'em. For a cheap skimmer they at least do remove some protein though.

Like I said, just minor adjustment from time to time as is with other PS I know of. I can mod the collection cup to gravity drain into diy waste collector w/ PP ball and carbon chamber.
Due to the fact that I am feeding whole spearing as their main diet, I do have to empty out collection cup pretty often.
