I had a Neon Blue Dwarf Gourami in my QT tank for about a month with some type of infection that dosent seem to be improving. It has a large gash int its body about a 1/4 in long by an 1/8 wide. It actually extends into its body. I am certain it isnt an injury from another fish but havent found much other info on it. Now I am beginning to see what looks like the early stage of another infection. Thus far I have been treating it with MelaFin and salt but i am not seeing improvement in about a months time. The fish is acting fine but this gash is looking worse and Im not sure what to do with it.
