Info About Silver Shark Catfish

they get like 14" long so i wouldn't add anything to you tank until you get a adequate tank for your current inhabitants first

I would love to get a bigger tank for my fish, don't worry. I do know that most Cichlids recommend a 40gl min. tank. But 1st of all, we don't have the space or the money to get it. 2nd they are doing fine in the 29gl for now, they are not hiding as much and like when we watch them swim.

The sharks will get to be 14 inches, they like company, and they are very active. I have two in a 55 gallon which is way too small for them and they are not yet full grown. I am trying to find someone to give them a better home but it not easy to find someone with a large brackish setup. I would strongly advise you not to purchase these fish. If you absolutely must get a cat for your tank look at something smaller like the Upside Down Catfish. Good luck whatever you decide.
