Hey gang. Anyone have any experience with these guys/girls ? Are they very similar to the L 333 ? And how big do they get ? And last of all, tell me NOT to get any more fish, my tank is overstocked as it is !!:)

vanillarum, I'll go ahead and tell you not to get more fish but I don't expect you to listen to me. Once again, do what I say not what I do. I want more endlers right now and I know exactly which kind. They just are not available until May because its a new line the breeder doesn't have enough of yet.

L287 is one of those pleco numbers they use to sell a lot of fish. It's almost never L287 when they get to your house. Usually just a nicely colored L399/400 variant. Do NOT buy them without pictures and I'd definitely recommend posting them on the discussion forum at PC for verification even when you have the pics ;).

Thanx gang. I'll research them and then probably not not buy them !! Charlie, do you have any trouble keeping 3 blue rams in your 46 ? Thanx.

not at all. the blue rams all have their own part of the tank. i have a lot of hiding spots so that helps.

How big is your tank?
I know from reading one of your other threads that you already have eight other pleco's in your tank so i would not consider getting any more. Pleco's are territorial fish, most of them can grow very big and have a high bio load.
I have three pleco's (L027, L066, L200) in my 180g tank and i would not consider getting any more for that tank.

Ok, i've just looked at your other thread to see what pleco's you have and can see that none of your plecos will grow past 6". They still need a large tank and decent filteration though.

Nope, I'm done getting new plecos for a while. Another tank would be nice, but the boss says no. Although I do have the ok for a 40 gal breeder when I locate some zebs. Till then, no more plecos for me. Thanx.
