We are trying to establish a mildly aggressive 85 gal. mbuna tank. Currently, we have 11 yellow lab juvies and thinking about adding more fish, Doe's anyone have experience keeping Labidochromis Hongi "red top kimpuma" ?

I believe I have some or a hybrid of them...Very good fish...Normal Mbuna needs, behavior...Not especially aggressive toward anyone...

when i was keeping Mbuna, i had a group of 5 in my two hundred with many other groups of Mbuna. the red tops were no different than any other Mbuna in aggression, territoriality, feeding etc. pretty fish ... enjoy.

Thanks for your responses, I think i have a problem, on closer inspection it appears that we bought three red top kimpuma males (the LFS advised 1m 2 f). If what I have read so far is true, sooner or later only one male will be left. The fish are about 6mts old how much time do I have before they start attacking each other? I know I will have to remove the rocks in the tank to net them, hopefully, it can wait to next week-end :rant2:
