What I'd like to get here is a list of fish that are injected or otherwise harmed in order to make a fish more sellable.

If you know of any, please add to this thread.

Starting off:

Painted Glass Fish
Blueberry Tetra
Strawberry Tetra

Parrots

I have seen dyed cory catfish. If the fish looks super colourful then I would question it. Obviously there are some exceptions like neon tetras and bettas. Often it is white or albino fish that get dyed.

ive seen dyed bronze corydoras.the are in normal coloration and then have a stripe of red or blue along their lateral line.
i havent seen dyed kissing fish in a while, which is good. they had red dye injected into their mouths to make it look like lipstick.
ive also seen "tatooed" discus. they were white with hearts and flowers on them. it was disgusting, and i will never go there again.

Not all parrots.... The biggest reason I want to have a good list going here is that I am now ordering fish for our store. I recently ordered some fish under our vendors "New Fish" category only to realize they were a new version of painted tetras.... quite upsetting. I know the Jellybean Parrots are dyed but the blood parrots are not.
