I have a hare nudibranch that I think got to close to an anemone. He's only slightly responsive and has a damaged spot on his back. Is there a chance he will recover? Is this a rare occurance or should I not keep a nudibranch in the same tank (55g) as an anemone?

with my little expertise I would move him to a quarantine tank. It would suck to have him die in the middle of the night and wow would that foul up your tank!

i would say it should be fine...research has been done on nudi's and it showed that they dont usually get used to being stung....unlike like us humans for example, can used to being stung by nettles or bees and not have an elergic reation to the poison over time....

Just keep an eye on it really. See what others opinions are matey..

Thanks guys!

I'm learning alot just by reading these threads, but hadn't come across anything about nudi's.

:( Well, the little guy didn't make it. I still have a lettuce nudibranch which I hope will stay away from the anenome. Thanks again for the responses.
