As I posted in my other thread. My peperred cory has died for no appartant reason. Now the only other one has what seems to be a cut where his belly meets his fin.(1 side only) Is this an injury or a disease?
Thanks,
~Big Al

Anyone? I think it's an injury, but is their anything i can do to help him heal? Also, it's been 2 days since the other one died, how long should i wait to give him a new friend? He's looking lonely. maybe should i get 2 more or will that be too many bottom feeders? In a 20 gal long i have 2 danios, 1 bala, 1 flame tetra,
8 neons,1 red tail shark, and the one pepered cory.
Thanks again,
~Biggy

what type of gravel do you have? is this causing it to get cut?

I wouldn't add anything until you are sure what the cause is for the cory being injured. Have you checked your parameters out yet? Have you been trying melafix or anything with him?

side note, your bala is going to outgrow that tank, and the RTS may have a problem with hm as they both mature sparking aggression.... I would get rid of him. Nice looking tanks by the way :)

My gravel is rounded, so it shouldn't be from that, but i do have red lava rock in there and some slate- maybe the fish caught himself on it? All my levels are normal, nothing's changed. I haven't added anything, i figured i'd wait. About the Bala, I know he's going to get big, when he starts getting bigger, i'll find him a new home. Does anyone know if LFS will trade fish?
THanks again
