So I kept hearing about this stuff called Prime. I thought it was for cycling tanks and such. Is this Instant DeCHLOR okay to treat tap water?

It says it will remove Chloramine and Chlorine. Made by Weco Products.

Prime as far as I know is not used to cycle tanks. It is a water conditioner that removes chlorine and chloramines from tap water. I use it on all of my tanks when I do water changes or add water to the tank for any reason.

So is prime the best stuff to use to treat tap water? Do you just pour it in your bucket before a water change, then use right away in tank?

I imagine you dont' want to pour it into your tank right?

Many of us consider Prime to be the best because it does what you need and it's very concentrated so the best value for the money spent.

You can just pour it into your tank...people who use pythons do it that way.

If you use buckets to change your water however, it's best to put it in the bucket first because it's less wasteful.

So if you are doing a 25% waterchange on a 20 gallon tank....

Do you had enough prime just for 5 Gallons?

Also, what is the product called exactly? Prime tap water dechlor?
