Instructions for XP2?

After reading another post on the XP2, (Rena canister filter) I saw that you can adjust flow, ect. I don't see that (or much of anything else, really) in the instruction book.
Are there other instructions elsewhere on the web detailing this? Anything, anywhere on these filters? I'd love to see a breakdown, preferably with pics, of the filter. Perhaps mine didn't come with all the booklets or whatever. Any help is most appreciated.

In the parts that come with the filter there is an “outflow regulator” that can be attached if you wish. (It is in the center of the “D” diagram, it has a little knob to turn at the top.) If you click on the “replacement parts” link, it is #4.

Not sure if your instr. booklet is the same as mine, but on page 9 there are pictures of various setups with part D either included or not.
