hey guys, looking for some advice...is currently the way I have my intake/output positioned ok? I like how the one plant masks the intake, but the output seems to be pushing that plant I pointed out with the blue arrow, down. Any suggestions?

I'd bring the output down a few inches and angle it up a little, this way it will be causing turbulence on the way up, not directly over your plant. Make sure also that is is not causing to much disturbance on the surface (likr any splashing) because the more movement on the surface, teh more carbon dioxide that you lose.

Is that return like a HOB return? Hard to tell from the picture.
If it is, put a filter sponge over the lower lip. This will almost eliminate any surface disturbance or strong current back into the tank.
If the return is a spray bar, as suggested above, lower it and angle it away from the plant.
