Internal Infection??

Hi all,

I came home today and my two gouramis were dead!! i noticed there were some slight internal pink areas on one or two of my other fish.. might i have some internal parisite? I had ich a few weeks ago, but no signs of spots on the other fish... parameters are fine ...

By internal pink spots you mean under the skins surface? It's hard to say b/c it could be bacterial. If your ammonia/nitrite readings are zero and nitrates are <40 or so, I wouldn't think bacterial though. You didn't o.d. on ich meds did you? Any description of the gouramis or were they too far gone to look them over? Any aggressive fish?

No agressive fish...

The only thing i noticed with the gourami was that his color was darker a few days before he died.... the second one seemed fine....

The fish with spots, are they acting normal? Eating o.k.? With so little to go on, it's hard to say what it is. Keep an eye on the other fish and keep us posted on their condition. Test your water to be certain your parameters are o.k..
