Hi, due to a lack of LFS around my area, I'm tempted to buy fish from internet stores. I hope people could recommend me some good and reliable internet stores that sell fish at a reasonable price. Thanks :)

liveaquaria.com. Has a min. order of $29.99 and a shipping fee of $35. When you read their holding, quarantine, treatment and selection process, as well as their captive-bred programs and eco-safe wild gathering proceses, to me it makes it all worth it.

i dont like ordering fish online because i do not know what the other ifsh that were in the same tank are like, but i have heard good reports with liveaquaria.com

If you have doubts about a seller ask them to take pic of holding tank that your fish is kept in. Most would have no trouble doing this.
I have had good luck with TFD. I never have ordered from Liveaquaria.

Thank you guys for the feedbacks, do you guys think it's worth the extra $$ to get fish online? I've just never done it before, so a little iffy. Thanks again for the replies

If it's a fish I can't find locally I have no problem ordering online. Most of the fish I have bought have been from breeders though, I have really never used a true company.

if you are fourtunate enough to be able to support a responsible LFS, by all means, buy from them.

if not, in this case, i would encourage you to got with www.liveaquaria.com, as i have known people who order thier FW livestock and have had consistent good results. Also, i have heard them to be quite compliant with customer requests.

if you do happen to order from them, i think it would be good if you posted a thread (with PICTURES!!) of your order etc,.)

Good Luck,

I think it's worth it to order from TFD. I've had nothing but good luck with them. Great fish, even better prices.
