interspecies communication

I did some tank maintenance in the afternoon & when I went to feed the evening meal 1 of my extremely shy corys swam to the front. This is the opposite of their normal behavior. Our conversation:

Hey Loxo, what's up? :confused:

Look at me :look:

:huh: Are you really that hungry? :shakehead:

:swear: No, look at me :hypnotized: really look :help2:

:eek3: The filters off :omg:! (turns on powerstrip) I'm so sorry :o

:dance2: Thank you! :nono: now don't do it again (:dive2:swims to back of tank with other corys :mwave:)

:grinno: I won't :hearts:

(loaches come out of hiding :tropicalfish:) :hi: So where's dinner? :popcorn:

This last is my normal interspecies communication along with: :nilly: get your hand away :devil: Any one else have :joe:"talking cats"?
 
Too cute! When my dwarf puffers look at me, they seem to be saying "I'm hungry!" All the time... =)
 
lol that's great :) I believe my fish just say "feed me woman" and "give me more food or I'll show you who's boss"
 
Very Clever! Don't you love it when they talk to you?
 
My betta looks like he's saying "Hey! Where's the food? Don't make me come out there...." :)
 
depending upon who's tank I'm tending to the conversations go like this:

Mistushima- "Woman... feed me.... feed me... feed me... (flare)..FOOOOOOD!!!!"
Ponie - "(stutter) hhh iii miss laaadddyy.... caan iii haaave foood? (swims quickly behind banana plant"
Kenzei - "Who's a sexxi fish? Who's sexxi? (looks over at me) Oh hehe Hi... Food?"
Cydia(female) - " Hi!... Whatcha got? (drop food in) Oooo what are those? (eats one) mmmm foood... Oooo what are those? (eats another)"
Caleb(Newbie) - "Please to go away? Just leave food and go please?"
UnNamed(Newest of Newbies) - "Remove me from the QT tank and give me lots and lots of food..."
