Hello to all the fine members of AquariaCentral,
Allow me the pleasure of introducing myself I'm a former tank keeper who at the constant pressure of my 13yr old son has chosen to reenter the the Aquarium world.
Currently we are setting up a 55gal, setting it up as a Cichlid tank since those were the only species I never kept.
Previous tanks included (3) 10 gal's, (1) 75 gal, (1) 125 gal. everything from a 22" Clown Knife in the 125, to Discus, Clown loaches, other assorted tropical fish in the 75 and the 10's were used to feeded fish, Arg Horned Frog (pac man) and live plant nursury.
We just installed several live plants (I know Chic's eat them but that is ok) and 4 good sized Artifical plants, and 4 nice cypress knots.

After the first 4-6 week breakin period we will replace the feeder fish with an assortment of smaller Chiclids such as Ram's yellows, blues, albanos ect.
Well that is about if for now ...
