got my cherry shrimp in today...thx bev...kinda smallish....so....how do you introduce into a stocked tank? All my fishies are small..but some of these guys are small too...possibly snack snize. ;o)

would like to avoid snack time if i can.

Looks good to me, my female bettas can't fit anything more than a young guppy (1/4-1/3") in their mouths.

I don't think you'll have any problems with any of those fish. RCS can be very quick when they want to avoid something as well.

Get a small critter cage until you can get some java moss or some other dense plant so they can hide in it.

i dropped 10 cherry shrimp into my 36g...they were very tiny, my gourami and cherry barbs went after them immediately and I thought they were all toast. I have a large amount of java moss in my tank, today I counted 8 of them and they are almost twice the size they were when I got them a couple of weeks ago....Bottom line, i guess, is that if you provide a place for them to hide (java moss or dense plant) they should be able to survive. Also make sure your filter intake is covered (i used ac sponge cut to fit) as I found a cherry shrimp in my canister filter (it was fine).

You can grow them out in a seperate tank first. The difference of just a 1/2" of shrimp size is actually quite substantial.

I somehow doubt your danios are going to be much of a problem, if any. My danios just ignore any and all fish (or anything moving) unless food is involved. Once food is in the water, its like a shark attack, They won't actually hurt anyone but smaller fish might have difficulty getting something to eat. Yours might be different, but if I feed mine bloodworms untill they are stuffed to their gills (literaly) they couldn't care less about other food.
