Hi everyone,
I have a heated in-ground 165 gallon pond with a waterfall in my backyard with a guppy, a danio, a telescope fish, a shubunkin, four lionheads, three crawdads, a bamboo shrimp, 6 rosy red minnows, about 9 freshwater clams and mussels (some west coast and some east coast), a gold fiddler crab, a pleco, two bitterlings, two leopard frogs, and about a dozen gambusia (the number is always changing as they give birth). I hope I didn't leave anyone out! All the fish are 2 inches or less. The crawdads, on the other hand, are looking more like lobsters. The fish go wild for tubifex worms, their favorite food. They also ate all the plants. I bring home as much duckweed as I can find, and they eat that too. They eat everything! I had a bunch of Japanese trapdoor snails but the crawdads ate them. They ate three clams too. Baby was hungry! LOL
