Where the ducks walk on the fish, PA
Myrtle my new rabbit snail! At least I am hoping it is a female. Malone seemed lonely so I had to get him a playmate. Once again it hit the tank scooting....well at least as fast as a rabbit snail can scoot. Here are a couple shots of Myrtle exploring, checking out her new digs!

For those that are interested. I have had Malone a few weeks and while when I first got him there was a concern about him eating plants. No plants eaten thus far!! They do like shady spots, so anyone getting them needs to take that into consideration.

Isn't is awesome how they move around? I am really enjoying mine. I also have plants in there tank and none have been eaten yet.

I am thinking that if you provide them with the vegetable matter they need, they don't eat the plants. I make sure he has the Ken's Veggie Pellet and algae wafer everyday. It is probably over feeding but my plants are fine and now that I have the loaches, extra ramshorns will be a bonus.

Yeah, the way they move is cool. You would think they would move much. But they lumber around quite a bit.

They looooooooooove zucchini as well. I just cut it into little spears and as soon as I put it in they come scooting over to nosh.

I just checked on Malone and Myrtle with the flash light. I thought maybe they would be out front snacking on the veggies I put in. No luck, I can see them in the back part of the tank "bumping heads". But I can't get a camera shot. They stopped after about 30 seconds of the flashlight being on them, so I am going to leave them alone. It is hilarious to see them head butting each other.
