So the 4 Mystery Snails are now in the "Invert Only" 6.6 gallon tank. All 4 snails are doing well; they are eating and are active. IMG_0136.JPG

One more pic of one of the Blue snails on the side of the tank and the other in the cave. It's hard to see him - look for the bump at the top of the cave. IMG_0154.JPG Actually the snail in the cave is more in the 9 o"clock position. Didn't realize the pic was so blurry - sorry!

nice start well done and welcome to the world of snails..lol

Thanks for the compliments. I had no idea that inverts would be so addicting!

This is so cool! I have an Eclipse 5 Hex that I am thinking of making an invert only tank. A couple of snails and I don't know how many cherry red shrimp. Its my next project and I'm looking forward to it. :)

I think the snails and shrimp are more active when they don't have anyone picking at them. That's how I ended up making an invert only tank. My fish were pestering the snails way too much. It's fun to feed them zucchini too. All four gather around from where ever they happen to be in the tank. I'm waiting for the tank to be well established before I add shrimp. That's something I'm really looking forward to!
