Invertebrates in the Refugium?

Can I put hermit crabs in the refugium? Or better, is it a good idea? If not, why?

If you want to maintain peak diversity of animal life in the refugium, skip out on the hermits. If you want some algae control (other than macroalgae), try a snail or two.

Ok, thanks. That's what I thought. I just heard of someone that had hermits in his refugium. I just wanted to clarify.
