Invertebrates Tank

Yah well unfortunately, my shelf is 1.5 inches to short

I bought a 10g kit at Petco for $59.99 it included everything i needed(I changed the filter to an aquaclear 30) I have it next to me on my computer desk. it's a dwarf frog tank for hubbie''s lonely frog until we get another tank! My snails/shrimp needed a 20g. they reproduce fast and are messy!

Ok, coolio, IDK I am going to go to walmart today, so I will see.......I wish my bookshelf was normal size.ugh

For the test kits, the best buy is to either order from, or price match to, petsmart's online price on the API master test kit. You get all the main ones you need for $23 plus tax, a really good deal rather than buying individually! Plus they last, if you only have one or two tanks, a LONG time. Well worth it for peace of mind and accurate results (that those crappy test strips cannot provide.....I learnt my lesson on that!)
Can your space alloted for a tank handle the All-Glass mini-bow 5 gallon? Those run about $37 at my local Wally World, with nearly everything you need to get started. They look really nice too! Do keep us updated please, whatever you decide.

API FW Master Test kits are 15 dollars on the Drs F&S website. A 10 gallon tank is 10 dollars at a walmart, with a price-matched filter being abbout 12 dollars.

New info. what I am going to do is order a sponge filter, and a mini heater, set it up, but I have read that they need a light..... and it is a incandescent hood, so what should I do about that???

yes I though about that but remember the tank is a 1 gallon, the hood is to small, right now whats in there is one of those fat christmas lights.....
