Iran is running low on 'energy'...

ill agree to that... they just want to blow up Israel and any other nation that gets in their way... their new leaders scare me....

Iran having nukes is no worse than Pakistan and India having them.

Pakistan and India hate one another, they have missles aimed at each other and have been at 'war' for a long time.

Pakistan is pretending to be a friend of the US just so they can keep the nukes. If they can keep them then Iran can have them also.

Pakistan is far from being a good country, they're the ones that put the Taliban in power in Afganistan. The US can't sit there and choose who gets nukes and who doesn't.

For those who think Bush will invade Iran. It won't happen. Bush only goes after nations that have no army or armies so depleted they are overmatched. Iran has a formidable army. North Korea doesn't but they have the backing of China, which stops Bush from going after them.

I'm proud to be from the US but we're the biggest bullies in the world.

So Pakistan and India have nukes. Let's not make the same mistake twice. The less countries that have nukes the better.

Right on topic too!!

Iran is scary! The "leader" screams "death to Isreal" -- "wipe them off the map"...

They are the "fuse to ignite WWIII.... (just my opinion..)

For now it's good to have a "launch point" from Iraq and Dubai (our friends, right?). If we leave Iraq now, we have the potential for a much larger Iran!... Times are not good in the middle East.

So why sit there and ask Iran and NK to give up their programs and not ask India and pakistan to give theres up?

If you're an allie of the US its ok to have them?

Even if this is true, Pakistan wasn't an allie of ours until the attack on Afganistan.

Nobody uses nukes, its a deterrent and fear factor.

Same as Hussein not letting it be known he had no WMDs. If he admitted he had none then Iran would have just walked across the border. Since they thought he had protection it kept them at bay.

If Iraq had no Weapons of Mass Destruction, then we would not have bombed them into "submission".

Saddam (Iraq) violated the U.N. Resolution, and the USA followed through on the Resolution.

Period.

That's what happened.

It's not 'politics', it's the real world, and what happens....

Really?

Where are they?

Don't say they moved them or buried them. Our satellites can see the tag on your underwear. I can see my house if I google my address. They had satelittes trained on Iraq and if anything moved we would have known.

They trusted bad intel, old intel and hearsey . Period!

I'll be honest with you guys here about nuclear weapons, I really don't ANYONE having them. The devastation and illness they cause are just not worth us killing eachother. But now that they are here in existence there's really no easy way to deal with them, or the pollution they cause.

Nuclear power is another thing I'm wary of. If controlled effeciently, it is a decent energy source, but with all the accidents that have happened, it just frightens me more.

I wish that the people in Iraq could have a better situation than this. They really have a hell of alot of problems now, and with everything as it is, we can't exactly leave the mess as is. I just feel bad that innocent people are dying on both sides of this conflict. Even here it gets pretty ugly sometimes with conflicts and whatnot, maybe not as bad as overseas, but every country seems to be in hard times lately. I just hope that everyone could find some kind of agreeable comprimise so we could all coexist peacefully regardless of differences. That's my 2 cents.~Angela
