Will Irish Moss Grow underwater? I like the looks of it.

It's a terrestrial plant, and not even particularly bog-oriented, so I would guess not. You could try something like riccia.
 
Haha, why not go with some other mosses? Some that are actually aquatic? Like Taiwan Moss, or Java Moss, even Flame Moss would work. What's the WPG of your tank?
 
I have a 29g biocube with 2 10k lights :shrug: on the WPG. I have plenty of java moss. But it groes so slowly.
