Is $760 a Good Deal???

At a cost of about $230 for the oak stand and canopy....that is not a bad price, not for a solid oak stand and canopy that is similar to furniture quality. I paid a lot for my handmade 72G oak stand and canopy, but I wanted furniture grade stuff for that tank....it's in my dining room with my oak dining room furniture and my dining room is open to my living room.

As I mentioned in my initial post, this is a brand new set up. It is coming directly from the manufacturer. It is not used, or coming off craigslist, ebay, or even here.

Either way it's too late. The truck went out already. Wah!

:) I agree. I too paid more than avg. for the custom furniture quality of the stand & canopy because it's one of two centerpieces in my livingroom. (you don't wanna know how $$$!) Quality wood & finishing costs. Yes, you could purchase a simlar 75g setup for quite a bit less but if you can afford it & it's what you want for your display then go for it!! "T"

:) Thanx Deb. It was the largest I could fit (& afford) in the space alotted by "The Boss". The 'hook' was it had to be a bit impressive for the living room. "The Boss" accepted & was pleased w/ the final product. Let's face it, if "The Boss" ain't happy won't nobody be happy!! "T"

Word...

I got a 75 with many accessories and a nice stand for $325.

Yeah, tanks are spendy here, but I'm happy with it... And that was weeks of looking...

I paid $400.00 for my 90gal. and I got a oak stand, canopy, glass top and light. It was 2 years old but in great condidition. I would look around first unless it brand new and your in a hurry to set up! Hey, nice tank Tony!

I got one! It is a 90g with solid oak stand & canopy (as opposed to the standard crappy pine ones AG makes).

Got it for $425 which may sound like a lot but it was very close to me, and I had time constraints as to when I could get it.

I will take tons of pics as I set it up. :D

WOW! I'm having tank envy now! Especially since you're in my state! I find the prices listed on craigslist for aquariums in our area are a bit higher than other states.
