Is erythromycin safe for inverts? What about other antibiotics/medications

I just would like to know for future reference since I will be getting some inverts and I want to make sure that they are safe if I ever have to medicatethe tank.

Oh that it would kill snails. Folks would be buying it in droves. Unfortunately, I have never seen a single snail drop dead in a tank I was medicating with antibiotics.

The only meds I've ever heard of avoiding in invert tanks is stuff with metals in it. Copper is a common component of medications for fish, but can kill shrimp and such.

ive used ethro often with no detriment to my very welcome excessive snail population.
