Is it illegal to drive a Ford Crown Victoria if you're not a policeman?? :grinyes:

Umm....no.

There's a state car auction near where I live. You can pick used cop cars up for cheap. It would be fun to have one just to mess with people.

The new police cars are much more fun to drive now then the older looking crown Vic. Trust me on this one. :headbang2:

As long as you have no operational lights, siren, or identifying decals on the vehicle, you are good to go with a CV/old police cruiser. You may check with your local law enforcement agency to get specifics on what else might need to be removed for civilian use if the car was indeed used for law enforcement.

Not illegal, but it used to be dangerous. A co-worker who is a school recruiter claims that he was shot at while driving one in a bad neighborhood. Don't know whether or not I believe it, but it did look like an undercover police car.

I can believe that, lots of cop haters.

The new Chargers and Challengers do look meaner than Crown Victoria, but also more expensive =/ I ask because one of my neighbors is a cop and he has a black Crown Victoria for sale at a pretty low price, and I want to sell my Cadillac and give the money to my parents so that they can ditch the 6 bedroom house and get the 7 bedroom one lol... It's the least I can do at the moment to pay them back for raising me :)
