After finding out exactly what it is you have in there, you can probably bring them to a local fish store (LFS) and see if they'll unload them for you. They may even give you store credit. If they will not take them, go to another store.
There seriously are too many fish in the tank..... I would think that gourami needs some space in there, especially if there's another in there with him (hence the eggs). I'm thinking the gold looking fish may be sword tails, platies or mollies. I hope they are at least.....
the catfish is probably a definite no no for the tank, a lot of the fish from the cat family get pretty big and with the size comes their appetite.... as well as some of them being a bit more on the aggressive side... this one sounds to me like it may be a red tailed black shark or rainbow, either way, I wouldn't have one in a 20 gallon..... I prefer 55+ and up for those guys with a few little caves for them to reside in....
