I have been planning to make my 10 gallon a brackish crab tank. I bought a molly the other night as I know they like brackish water. Apparently it was a she and she had babies overnight. Can I still start to make the change to brackish with fry in the tank? I was planning on doing it with water changes---3 gallon change, 1 gallon having 1 and a half teaspoons of instant ocean. Water changes daily due to a bacteria die off. Is this too quick? How else would anyone recommend doing this?

If you keep your specific gravity changes to 0.002 per density change, and allow at least 2 or more weeks betwen density changes, you should not have any difficulty with the transition. That is, increase from 1.000 (FW) to 1.002 (very light BW), then to 1.004, etc. until you reach whatever density is your tank's goal.
