Dose 4-6 ppm of Nitrate per day. The reason i ask is, ever since i put in a C02 injection system this week, my plants are utilizing 4-6ppm of nitrates per day  . Yesterday my reading were 8ppm, this morning its around 0, probably closer to 2 ppm. The solution i made is 5ml = 1ppm or 1 cap = 1ppm of nitrate for ease of dosing.

But is it safe to dose that much nitrate per day? Will the fish be harmed at all?

I suppose all this just means that thing are working though. Green algae shouldnt stand a chance! :D

Thanks guys/girls!

The object is to maintain your level for this element between 10 - 15ppm. Whatever it takes to accomplish that is OK. If you decide to dose N daily, check your levels frequently for content until you are certain those levels are being held and not over done.
One of the biggest pitfalls we encounter after making changes in our tanks is neglecting to alter our dosing regimen to accommodate those changes. So when you prune down your tank, in the future, re-test and adjust your levels again.
Balance.
