If you are a member at AB take a look at Elusiveflounder's Member Gallery pics. He has a picture of himself inside of his tank. I'm not going to post his pictures here without his permission. His is a 280 gal but I don't see why it couldn't be done.

If you are really worried you could get a piece of foam insulation and put a piece of plywood over it for you to sit on. That will help distribute the weight more evenly on the glass.

I wouldnt do it.
I'd put the tank on its side and clean it...

Only get inside if you can have someone outside taking pics, then post them.

I would err on the side of caution. You could break the glass and also there is always the possibility of getting injured when you are dealing with broken glass.
