Is it the ich?

Sure looks like it. Is it a little filmy? Medication for ich isnt expensive. One of the maracyn medications takes care of it I do believe and there are specific ich medications. You can get them at any chain pet store and even walmart. The main thing is fast action b4 it gets bad. I bought an albino oscar from petsmart years ago when I got back into the hobby that I didnt notice had ich. By the time I noticed, it was in advanced stages. The poor fish was on its death bed rockin to one side on the gravel. I got a cheap ich med from walmart and after a few days he recovered. So dont freak out but definetaly dont wait too long to start meds.

Picked up nox-ich. Filter=off. Bubbler going. Water is blue. It said put half dose for scaleless. One drop per gallon is normal, but I put in 10 drops, so it's less than half a normal dose.

Well that didn't last long... Back to bottom sleeping.

Is there anything else I should be doing? Water changes? Cleaning my filters? Any extra advice so I can help my fishie friends survive?

Me personally I would do a partial water change everyday. Ive only dealt with ich once so I dont have a lot of exp with it. I did like a 25% water change daily then refilled and added more meds. Once you see the fish looking better I would do a 50% water change daily. I think it has something to do with the little beasties still being in the tank they are just 'jumping off the fish'. For me it took a week so just be patient.

Well, I think my silver shark is about to succumb to the ich... He's very stiff and just floating around the tank. Every now and then he'll swim forward for half a second, then he'll just go back to floating...

Sigh.
