Is it too late to add plants ?

Kelvin ratings have to do with the colour of light emitted by the bulb, to the HUMAN EYE. its what colour we will see.

If you really want to get into which bulbs are better, find bulbs with a high CRI rating (Colour Rendering Index)

high cri = good for plants. also, checking the spectrum output of the bulb will tell you if it is emitting a spectrum that is good for your plants.
I believe 465nm (strong blue) is the right wavelength to give plants a "bush" growth. and i always forget the number for the red spectrum, but "red" will give your plants a "Lenky" grotwh to them.
