IS java ferm grown from a bulb?

Also how cheap are a pack of bulbs at walmart or any other really cheap place?

What are the chances of the bulbs growing?

Are the plants that the bulbs produce very hardy?

No, java fern is not grown from a bulb. They are most likely some kind of Aponogeton. If you look in the plant forum, I believe there are threads/info about Wal-Mart bulbs. I haven't grown them myself.

Java fern is actually a rhizome. Do a google image search for rhizome and you'll see what that means.
