I've been looking around and it seems that Mondo Grass might not be a true aquatic plant. According to some sites it's sold as such (like it was to me) and will die in a month or so from being underwater for too long. Does anyone have any info or experience they could give on this situation. I'm not too upset, considering they were cheap but it is still after all a rip-off. Please let me know. Thanks.

It is a fairly common garden plant around here...really shouldn't be sold in the aquatic section, I've even seen it in rock gardns, lol.

Yep it's a rip-off. Stay away from it for aquarium uses. If the tops aren't out of the water they will eventually rot & the plant dies.
