I have a Marble Vail Angel, he is about 2" body and I have had him for about a week or two. My Mollies picked on him for a while (yes strange) till I took them out. Now he lives in my 36g with 6 Sepae Tetras and a Pictus. He pretty much has the place to him self. The tetras hang out near the bottom and never even acknowledge him. My question is, he is very still. He kinda hangs out in one spot all the time. Sure he will slowly swim around occasionally but he is rather inactive. I have no ideas about Angels so I don't know if they are normal active.

Yes that is pretty strange that your mollies would pick on an angel that big. Since you have only had him for about a week and then you moved him again he may be getting acclimated to his new surroundings. I have never had a tank with one lone angel, all the tanks I have angels in there are groups of them. They do have a tendency to be slow moving fish but most of my angels do move all over the tank and not just stay in one place. Do you notice anything visible wrong with him? What are your water parameters. I would say if your parameters are ok, and nothing visible wrong and he is eating ok, I wouldn't worry about him.

I don't find it strange that mollies pick on angelfish. There are several cases of mollies doing this which may not make them worthy candidates as tankmates for angelfish, discus and many other disc-shaped cichlids. Keep a watch on your serpaes. Sooner or later, they'll nip the angelfish.

Thanks Guys, The Angel doesn't have anything physically wrong with him. I am planning on adding 8 Hatchet fish this weekend.... That shouldn't be a problem huh?

angels may hang in 'favorite' spot particularly if it is cover . they do prefer verticle cover like tall plants or driftwood.
how much cover is in the tank.
I'd be watchful of serpaes with an angel. hatchet fish will be fine but watch them as they are prone to leaping out of tanks.
how are the waterparameters?

Nope but you'll need to watch them as well. As star_rider mentioned, they can leap out of tank.
