Im concerned about my female baloon mollie. redently since this afternoon, she has been hanging out on the bottom in the back of the aquarium a lot, with her top fin *sometimes* ( not too often) clamped, waving her side fins (is this shimmying?). My mollies had babies shortly adfter i set my tank up, but they all eneded up dying when the amonia spiked. I have just tested my water, and its in the best shape its been in a long time. Ive also noticed the male rubbing his nose/poking her in that area. Are there any signs to look for that would show she was pregnant?
Also, this is probably a dumb question, but speaking of clamping fins, should i expect my fish to normally clamp their top fin occasionaly, or is it something they do only when somthing is wrong?
