Is my frog eating my fish?

I have had an aquarium for a few months now. It took me a little before I bought a heater, filter, and air pump. I had the same two tetras and the same albino dwarf frog for most of the time I owned the aquarium. I thought they would be happier with the new heater and filter. Well one of my tetras disappeared. I decided to purchase some new fish. I bought 3 blue danios, and 2 new neon tetras. Well the first day one of the tetras went missing which I wasn't even charged for a petsmart because I noticed he was missing a fin and obviously not going to live long. Yesterday I went to work and when I got home I was missing another tetra and the other was staying in one place towards the bottom of the tank, and now today I am missing a blue danio. My fish seem to be disappearing and I don't think the frog is big enough to eat them. If anyone knows what may be happening to my fish please help me. They have not jumped out of the tank and I can't see their bodies in the tank.

One more question. Should I affix the air stone at the bottom of the tank? It almost seems like the current is too strong.
 
Is this a DWARF or a CLAWED frog? I've not seen dwarf albinos, but have seen clawed albinos--and a clawed frog will make short work of most fish, certainly any tetras or danios.

I bought it at wal mart and I thought it was an albino dwarf. I had several dwarf frogs that died when I first bought the aquarium but I have had this abino for several months. I was not able to post pictures due to size, but here is one I split up. I wondered this myself but I thought that if it was a clawed frog it would have gotten bigger by now. He is a bit fat though. Thanks for any help.

Yes that is an African Clawed Frog, they get to be the sizeof a softball and will eat anything that moves.....It is definatley eating your fish.
 
Thanks. I don't know if wal mart labeled them correctly and since they look similar and petsmart does not carry clawed frogs I figured it was a dwarf.
 
I think a lot of times they are mislabeled. BTW how did everyone know it was a clawed frog? I want to get an ADF but don't want to make the same mistake...
 
Look at the front feet--no webbing between the fingers. Also, albino dwarves are either non-existant or really rare--I've never seen them anywhere. Here's a great article on dwarves from Leo: http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37172

If you want to keep the frog, you will not be able to keep fish in there. They can eat fish that are nearly as big as they are, and are voracious predators.
 
they also have different shapes of their heads.... but being that the dwarves are so small, you have to look closely. First things first though, if it's white, 99% will not be a dwarf. I can't say whether their is a dwarf albino but I've never heard not seen one. The eyes are at different sections of the head. The Clawed frogs eyes are more on top of the heads where the dwarves eyes are more on the sides. Also a clear cut way is the Dwarves have webbed feet whereas the clawed don't.
 
Well he has webbing on his legs but not arms. I have never seen him eat any fish or be aggressive. He has lived longer and gotten bigger than the non albinos that I bought from petsmart. I am pretty sure he is a clawed frog now. Thanks.
