Is my molly sick?

Hi, my balloon bellied fish has beeen acting very strange lately. When i came down stairs this morning, she was stuck to the filter. When i turned it off, she swam away. Now she is just sitting at the bottom, half dead. Is this sickness or stress?

Can you post your water conditions? ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? What size tank? How long has it been running? When a fish gets stuck to the filter it is definately sick or weak. Any healthy fish can easily swim away from the intake.

I am gomg to get my water levels tested today, but two weeks ago everything was fine. I have a 46 gallon tank. Thanks for the replies.

I have a funny feeling this is in the same tank with your Gravid Molly. How often do you do water changes in your tank? This is probably your problems all wrapped into one issue.

Yes it is in the same tank as my gravid molly, (which now everyone hates me for.) I changed the water with a 50% change about a week ago. What does this mean?
