When I was doing a water change I felt my finger brush against or bump something. I looked and saw a ghost shrimp swimming away. I was hoping I didn't cause any damage.
Later in the day I noticed that he has a tiny red blob inside on the left side of his head. Only on one side. Not the area where you see the food go, but ahead of that, towards the front of the head and more to the side.. There's an anatomical blob in the same area on the other side, but it doesn't look red.
Also, all along the sides of his thoracic area and in some places on his legs, it's like you peppered him, lightly, with cayenne pepper. I don't know how else to describe it. Also, there is a rosy coloring internally, where he usually is clear.
I"m afraid I injured him. Can anyone tell me if this sounds like that is the case.
Thanks for any input.
