When my snail was doing poorly and not eating I put her in a breeder trap, at msjinkzd's recommendation, and this way she didn't have to move around the tank searching for food. I was worried that she was going to die. She had stopped moving around the tank.
I put snail jello in there with her, and also some veggie pellets.
She was able to eat without moving very far. Each morning she had eaten some and I removed the snail poo and uneaten debris with a turkey baster.
It was one of those plastic floating traps I got at the Petstore for around $2.

Thanks. I'm afraid to move him much. He's still half way out of the shell...and he's still all shrivley looking. He's just lying there not moving even a tiny bit. His body looks a little discolored too, but that might just be the light.
