I got a snail a week ago and he has been cleaning the tank well, but i noticed this today. I think he is a mystery snail too. Do you think it's him? I'm not sure if that one leaf is dying, but out of the 7 leaves, 3 have this on them. They all but one have the black "stuff" on it. Is this ok? Or should I remove my snail.
All the other plants seem fine.

No its on a rock, and the roots are all spread out. I dont think it's rotting, it's growing new leaves every now and then

Do you have a pleco? They can damage leaves like that trying to eat the bio-film off the leaf.

It's very unlikely it is a brigg, although if they're not getting enough veggies in their diet or are extra hungry it's not completely unheard of for Briggs to eat plants... just unusual. Usually they only go for unhealthy plants.

Clip a piece of zucchini to the tank- briggs will welcome the veggie even if they're not responsible.

Ok, does anyone know what it is? I just came home from school, and saw it like that. It wasn't like that at like 5AM....

Looks like just the one leaf, if so just clip it off. If you have many leaves like that then it is a problem.
