I've got two small marine tanks (30g and 5.5g), it can be done, but nano/pico tanks require a little more TLC than larger tanks, at least in some ways.
Check out www.nano-reef.com, it's a site dedicated to keeping small marine tanks. Before you go shopping, do as much research as you can so you don't miss anything, or worse end up buying things you don't need.

I also have a 10 G. My siggy has a list of everything in it. I wish to get a bigger one but i dont have the money! I hope one day i can! here is some pics.
